Our Indian Constitution

           


   Dear, students just like you follow rules in school , people in our country also follow rules . lets discuss our constitution.

CONSTITUTION  OF INDIA

                Every independent country has a set of rules which is written in a book called CONSTIUTION . Similarly  our country  also has a set of laws called  CONSTIUTION OF INDIA. this is written documents . it includes the methods, powers and duties which must be  followed by government . it also describe right and duties of Indian citizens.

MAKING OF OUR CONSTITUTION



          when India  got a independence  in 1947 the leaders that they needed a  constitution to govern the country  which would we more suitable for our country and countryman . a committee of 6 members was constituted to draft new constitution . it was headed by D.r  B.R.Ambedkar  therefore he is also know as Father of Indian constitution. it was passed on 26 November 1949 and come into effect on  26 January 1950. this day is celebrated as Republic day.

THE PREAMBLE 

            Every constitution beings with the preamble . preamble is a short introduction  to the constitution . it lays down the guiding principles of the Constitution.

            The preamble states that India would be a  SOVEREIGN, SOCIALIST, SECULAR, DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC.

   DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC MEANS " the people have the right to choose their government"

SECULAR  MEANS" the people of the country have the right to follow any religion "

SOCIALIST MEANS  "the people  of the country will be treated equally and equal opportunities will be provided  without any discrimination between rich or poor ,religion sex etc"

            The words JUSTICE ,LIBERTY AND EQUALITY are the ideals that the constitution guarantees us.

JUSTICE - social, economic ,and political:

LIBERTY- of thought ,expression ,belief ,faith and worship:

EQUALITY- of states and of opportunity ,and to promote among them all:

FRATERNITY- assuring the dignity  of the individual and the unity and integrity of the nation.

    In our constituent assembly this twenty six  November 1949 do hereby adopt, enact and give to ourselves  this constitution.

FUNDAMENTAL RIGHT

            The  constitution of India guarantees  a few rights  to all the citizens of India these rights are called fundamental Rights.  fundamental right adopt from America. fundamental right means those freedoms which are essential for the good of an individual as well as the community .If these rights are denied one can go to court of low .There are SIX fundamental rights which are written in the constitution of India they  are -

  1. RIGHT TO EQUALITY 
  2. RIGHT TO FREEDOM RIGHT AGAINST EXPLOITATION
  3. RIGHT TO FREEDOM OF RELIGION 
  4. CULTURE AND EDUCATIONAL RIGHTS
  5. RIGHT TO CONSTITUTIONAL REMEDIES 
  6. RIGHT TO EDUCATION
            DO YOU KNOW 
                    NOVEMBER 26 IS A CELLEBRATED AS CONSTITUTION DAY AS THE  CONSTITUTION WAS COMPLETED ON THIS DAY . 
  • Right to education  low was passed  in 2009 it made education a Fundamental Rights   of every child between the age  of 6 to 14 years.
  • Right to information -   this right was given citizens on Oct .12 .2005 .according to this right every citizens of India has right to seek  information for the public authority
